Vanessa Thompson is on the verge of exploding on the stage of the music scene with heart and soul. She is a POP singer with a flair for a soulful experience. She writes and composes her own music with the exception of a few songs written for her by her father. From a very early age she has loved music and would sing for anyone who would listen. At an early age she taught herself how to play the piano and became involved in many different school activities including choir singing many solos. She was a cheerleader her junior and senior year and sang the national anthem for numerous events including her graduation ceremony.

Since High School, Vanessa has come a long way with her music. In 2006 Butterfly Music Productions released her first album titled "Baby This Love" On April 24, 2008 Butterfly Music Productions released Vanessa's first full-length Album self titled "Vanessa" produced by the incredible Scott Anderson of 57th Street Productions in Monroe, Washington. Vanessa has also performed Live at many different events around the Puget Sound, to include opening for the Beach Boys in 2007 and KC & The Sunshine Band in 2008, both at the Tulalip Amphitheatre in Tulalip, Washington. She has performed the opening and half time show for the Seattle Supersonics at Key Arena as well as being the performer at The Shobox Sodo Theatre for The 2008 annual Underground Couture Fashion show hosted by the Art Institute of Seattle, a major fashion event in the Pacific Northwest. She has also performed the National Anthem for numerous sports events, to include the Everett Silvertips, The Seattle Supersonics, The Seattle Storm and The University of Washington Huskies.

Vanessa has had many ON AIR radio interviews, including a live radio performance on KISS 106.1 FM on the Jackie and Bender Morning Show, Shawn Cain a local film maker and radio personality at www.blogtalkradio.com/ifu and JC at www.planetradionet.com in Alabama.
