Butterfly Music Productions has engaged "Justin andJennifer" to produce a music video to Vanessa's song "HeartbreakinGame". The video is moving along well and should be coming out soon.Butterfly Music Productions has also engaged two of Vanessa's sisters to playparts in the video. There is a lot of energy beginning to build with Vanessa'sfans for this new music video. Stay tuned :)

New CD Titled "Vanessa" Is Completed

Vanessa has just completed her new full length album. This albumwas released April 24, 2008. The songs have all been written by Vanessa, withthe exception of a few songs written for her by Jim Thompson. This new albumwas produced by 57th Street Productions located in Monroe, Washington.Butterfly Music Productions is very excited about the release of this CD andfeels that it showcases another dimension of Vanessa's musical talent. Vanessa Thompson performed as the opening act for The Beach Boys,for a full house, at the Tulalip Amphitheatre in Marysville, Washington.Vanessa performed some cover songs, some of her own music from her currentalbum out "Baby This Love" and one piano version of a song that willbe on her new album to be released in early 2008. Seattle Supersonics - Vanessa Thompson Performed the Pre-gameand Half time Shows for The Seattle Supersonics:

VanessaThompson performed the pregame and half time show for the Seattle Supersonicswhen they played the Utah Jazz November 9, 2007 at the Key Arena in SeattleWashington. The pre-game show started at 5:55 PM and went until 7:30 PM. Thehalf time show was at 8:30 PM for about fifteen minutes. Butterfly MusicProductions had a table for Vanessa's fans who got autographs and purchased herCD "Baby This Love", posters and many of her other products.

CD Release Party - Vanessa Thompson's New Album Titled"Vanessa" Was Released by Butterfly Music Productions April 24, 2008:

Vanessa Thompson's new album "Vanessa" is here and wasreleased April 24, 2008. There were VIP and public CD release parties at theBaltic Room in Seattle, Washington. The VIP CD release party was from 6 to 9 PMand was attended by invitation only. There were attendees from around thecountry to include musicians, producers, event organizers, coreographers,writers, promoters, corporate representatives and numerous other industryinsiders as well as some of her more dedicated fans. Representatives of thepress and/or mediawere also in attendance. Vanessa performed some of the songsfrom her new album self titled "Vanessa". The crowd was captivatedwith Vanessa's music and performance skills. The Public CD release partystartedat 9:45 PM.  Vanessa performed some cover songs and songs from her newalbum from 10:30 PM to 11:30 PM with her band. The crowd was mesmerized byVanessa's performance.  Vanessa's new CD "Vanessa" as well asher CD "Baby This Love" and other products were available. ButterflyMusic Productions had professional videographers and photographers there tocapture the event for use at a later date.  Vanessa was available to signautographs and take pictures with her fans. The evening was a big success.

Vanessa Thompson Performed at the Shobox SODO for the"Couture Underground", The Annual Premier Fashion Show of the PacificNorthwest by the Seattle Art Institute:

Vanessa Thompson performed for the annual fashion show put on asan exclusive event in the Pacific Northwest for the fashion industry. Thisevent was hosted by the Seattle Shobox SODO April 10, 2008. The doors opened at7 PM and Vanessa performed from 7:30 to 8:00 PM in the VIP lounge for the VIPattendees. Vanessa performed some cover songs and some songs from her soon tobe released CD "Vanessa". After the show Vanessa had her CD"Baby This Love" and other products for sale. She was also availableto sign autographs and take photos with her fans.

KC& The Sunshine Band - Vanessa Thompson opened for KC & The SunshineBand at The Tulalip Amphitheatre August 20, 2008:

Vanessa Thompson opened for KC & The Sunshine Band at theTulalip Amphitheatre in Tulalip, Washington. Vanessa's performance consisted ofsome cover songs and some of her own music from her current album self titiled"Vanessa".  The doors opened at 6:00pm and Vanessa performedfrom 7:00pm to 7:45pm and then KC & The Sunshine Band performed from 8:00pmto 10:00pm. The Tulalip Amphitheatre was very enthusiastic about bring Vanessaback to perform, as she opened last year for the Beach Boys, and received anincredible response.  Since her performance last year at Tulalip, Vanessahas released her first full-length Album titled "Vanessa" and has hadmany performances around the Northwest, and had many ON AIR radio interviews,including a Live radio performance on KISS 106.1 FM on the Jackie and BenderMorning Show.  She is currently working with some major producers in LA,from which her first single will be launched globally.
